The Faculty of Economics and Public Administration within "Ştefan cel Mare" University of Suceava is pleased to invite you to the 2026 edition of the International Conference "Challenges and Opportunities for a Sustainable Development" (COSD), which will be held in Suceava, Romania, on June 5-6, 2026.

Aim of the Conference The conference aims to bring together leading academic scientists, researchers, and research scholars to exchange and share their experiences and research results on all aspects of Development Economics and Sustainability. It also provides a premier interdisciplinary platform for researchers, practitioners, and educators to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, and concerns as well as practical challenges encountered and solutions adopted in the fields of Economics and Business Administration.

Conference Panels & Tracks We welcome submissions for the following panels:

  1. Economy, Trade, Services: Exploring global trade dynamics and service sector evolution.

  2. Management and Business Administration: Strategic management, leadership, and corporate social responsibility.

  3. Accounting-Finances: Sustainable finance, reporting standards, and fiscal policies.

  4. Statistics, Economic Informatics and Mathematics: Data analysis, modeling, and digital transformation in economics.

Special Sessions & Workshops

  • Enhanced Tourism Experience through Heritage and Community Engagement

  • Student Session: European Economy - Present and Perspectives

Publication Opportunities All accepted papers will be published in the Conference Proceedings. Selected high-quality papers will be considered for publication in partner journals indexed in international databases (Web of Science, ERIH Plus, etc.), subject to a specific peer-review process.
